The Mumbai Indians management went all out to buy young Australia all-rounder Cameron Green at the IPL 2023 mini auction.Five-time champions Mumbai Indians were a busy team, completing a successful outing at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini auction in Kochi on Friday (December 23). MI, who have failed to make the Playoffs stage over the last two season, are keen on turning their form around and challenge for the title once again.       n 23 December, the auction for IPL 2023 was conducted and the franchisees participated in the bidding process to find the best players for their team

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most expensive cricket tournaments in the world. Ten franchisees fight for the championship and every team bets on the best players chosen from across the world. On 23 December, the auction for IPL 2023 was conducted and the franchisees participated in the bidding process to find the best players for their team.While Sam Curran joined Punjab Kings (PBKS) earlier in the day for a staggering Rs 18.5 crore, overtaking Morris, CSK fans were ecstatic as they missed out on Curran but Stokes is no stranger to the league either. 

As soon as the bidding for Stokes was done, Twitter was flooded with reactions as plenty of fans speculated that finally CSK had found their successor to MS Dhoni, and they wanted Stokes to captain the Yellow Army.

The IPL auction 2023 is reportedly said to take place on December 16 in Bengaluru. Ahead of the auction, the BCCI has aimed to bring back the regular home and away formats after conducting three IPL seasons in bio-secured bubble environments to contain Covid-19.

The suspension of some aid programmes that millions of Afghans access comes ata time when more than half the population relies on humanitarian aid, according to aid agencies, and during the mountainous nation’s coldest season. T he joint statement also highlighted the effect of the ban on female staff on thousands of jobs in the midst of an enormous economic crisis. Earlier, international aid agency Afghan Aid said it was immediately suspending operations while it consulted with other organisations, and that other NGOs were taking similar actions.
